Ok, blue states. Stop sending any support from food, electricity, and money. They’re so good on their own they can manage apparently. Despite being the ultimate welfare queens of the nation

Without oil, Texas would be another Kansas or Nebraska (bankrupted by bad conservative policy).

It’s amazing, it’s those blue states that keep Texas functioning. We in California send them $160 billion dollars a year so that they can not tax business and deny their citizens any care. We need to stop subsidizing poorly run Red States, especially if they’re going to run their mouths and just talk shit. Let’s see how angry with California they are when they’re welfare checks, food stamps, and everything else the states supposed to provide, just stop showing up.

Oh good does this mean blue states can stop subsidizing red states and use their tax dollars on their own citizens? With rugged American individualism being such a core value for conservatives it’s basically overdue they stop taking handouts from such sinful and corrupt people.

“red state success”
Just a reminder that, in general, the red states are parasites on the blue states. The blue states create wealth that flows into the red states in public aid.

We had the infrastructure bill under Biden and attempts to broaden Medicare and Medicaid (blocked by Republicans), military benefits expanded (trump cut them), and lowered costs on prescription drugs, including insulin capped at $35.
Now why would a state not want those things?
where even is all of our tax money going with Republicans running everything? they cut all the programs and services that our taxes used to provide, and we now even pay more for everything with the tariffs.

In 2024, 44% of voters in Texas voted for someone other than Trump. Every state is actually some shade of purple.

All Greg Abbott does is sit around waiting for some kind of tiny affirmation from Donald Trump. Greg exists as a small puppy who is desperate for a pat on the head from their owner.

“Red state success” but they do nothing but complain how terrible everything is here. And they’ve been in charge for the past 30 years.
